The International Women’s Day (IWD) event, sponsored by the Asian American Alliance, Inc. and the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, hosted more than 300 women on Friday, March 6 at the Indiana Government Center South Auditorium.

This year’s event, with the theme of Give to Gain, focused on forging gender equality through generosity, collaboration, and intentional giving of time, knowledge, resources, and support, recognizing that when women thrive, everyone benefits. The event included calls for action in leadership, economic empowerment, education and advocating for change.

IWD presented sessions that inspired, encouraged and empowered women to grow and lead in business and community engagement. The four-part speaker series, which focused on entrepreneurship, education, excellence and empowerment, enlightened the audience with a wealth of wisdom and insights.

Special speakers, sponsors and vendors provided support, resources and education to all those who attended the free event. Also, free professional headshots were provided for attendees.
