Your mind might take you effortlessly to reflect upon an inheritance, will, money and or property. Not a bad landing strip, any one of these.
I wasn’t hearing any of those things though. The tracks of my mind gravitated and then ushered me down an entirely different path. My focus was not and is not on the What, but the Who, regarding legacy.
I keep hearing, “Who’s Got Next?” I’m trying to fine tune the faces of those I am to pour into. There is an increased sense of urgency because I have no desire to depart this land of the dying and arrive at the land of the living, yet full.
Every day, as I intentionally Live Out Legacy, my prayer is to be poured out as a drink offering. Just as Apostle Paul and Barnabas told the man who sat by a beautiful gate with an unsightly issue, “Look upon us.” My invitation to anyone with issues, whether they be issues of blood, infirmity, unforgiveness, addiction or such like, Look this way! Silver and gold have I none, BUT SUCH AS I HAVE, GIVE I UNTO YOU, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, ARISE.
There is a generation that doesn’t even know “They’ve Got Next!” For those of us who are hearing the voice of God, it is time to accept the assignment. It is time to walk upright that when they look upon us they see integrity, honesty, faithfulness and the love of God.
It is past time and long overdue for FRUIT to have budded from your tree. It is Due Season to be poured out. This is the Season of the Pour.
YOU CAN’T LEAVE IT IF YOU’VE NOT LIVED IT! IT’S TIME TO LIVE WHAT YOU’VE BEEN SINGING ABOUT. IT’S TIME TO LIVE OUT LEGACY…EACH AND EVERY DAY.
LEGACY: SOMETHING THAT WILL OUTLIVE YOU…AND ME.
SOMEBODY IS WATCHING YOU. SOMEBODY IS WAITING ON YOU, ON YOUR VOICE, ON YOUR TESTIMONIES.
THEY ARE WAITING ON YOU TO ACCEPT AND FULFILL YOUR ASSIGNMENT.
