All Things MOMMIE, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering a supportive community for mothers and mother figures, is thrilled to announce the return of Momsgiving.
This year marks the third annual event, providing a platform for birth moms, adoptive moms, stepmoms and maternal figures to come together and celebrate their unique journeys with like-minded women.
“Moms and mother figures often prioritize their children, families, careers, and community service ahead of themselves,” said founder and CEO Erien Dickens.
“Momsgiving offers them a vital opportunity to pause, acknowledge their daily efforts, replenish their spirits, and connect with other women who truly understand the demands they face daily.”
As a married mother of four, dedicated full-time employee and co-owner of two beloved local culinary establishments – Chef Paul’s Kitchen and Chef Paul’s Foodtruck – Dickens personifies the essence of a modern-day superwoman.
Her personal experiences inspired the creation of All Things MOMMIE and its flagship event, Momsgiving.
“My journey began with a profound firsthand experience of the struggles and isolation that many mothers, especially those from diverse backgrounds, encounter while navigating the challenging path of motherhood,” said Dickens.
“Rather than simply dreaming of a community for women like me, I set out to create one.”
This year’s Momsgiving will take place Nov. 12, with doors opening at 3 p.m. and the event running from 4-7 p.m. at VisionLoft, 235 N. Delaware St.
Attendees can look forward to networking opportunities and a panel discussion addressing topics relevant to mothers from all walks of life.
Admission includes dinner, catered by Chef Paul’s Kitchen.
Tickets for Momsgiving are currently available for $75, offering an evening of connection, celebration and empowerment for women from all walks of life.
