The statewide moratorium on natural gas utility disconnections ends March 15, including customers who qualified for the Energy Assistance Program (EAP) and are now facing utility disconnection.
If you are still struggling, Citizens encourages customers to visit citizensenergygroup.com/help to find payment plans and help from the Citizens Warm Heart Warm Home Foundation which helps customers catch up on overdue bills.

Those struggling with utility bills should apply for EAP by the April 15 deadline to receive a 10-15% discount on their natural gas bills through May 15, as well as a $6 to $15 credit on their wastewater bills beginning in July. To learn more, call 211.
Customers who do not qualify for EAP but are still in need of assistance can apply for the United Way of Central Indiana’s Winter Assistance Fund. Applications are open until May and can be found at uwci.org.
