The Veterans Health Administration launched One Indiana Call Line, a new patient advocacy resource for Hoosier veterans.
The call line provides veterans enrolled in one of four Veteran Integrated Services Networks with a one-stop point to help with concerns and connect them with resources. The call line is also available for veteran services organizations and congressional offices.
To reach a One Indiana Call Line advocate, veterans can call 1-844-IND-VETS (1-844-463-8387).
The One Indiana Call Line is designed to provide resources but cannot manage medical issues, appointments, benefits or crises. Members with medical questions or appointment needs can contact their local clinics by phone or through My HealtheVet messaging at myhealth.va.gov or VA Health Connect at va.gov/health/connect-to-va-care.
Those experiencing a crisis should contact the Veterans Crisis Line at 988.
This reporting is made possible by a grant from the Indianapolis African-American Quality of Life Initiative, empowering our community with essential health insights. https://iaaqli.org/
