The Indiana Pacers (7-10) face off against the New Orleans Pelicans (4-13) at 7 p.m. EST at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
Led by Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers enter the contest as the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Conversely, the Pelicans, helmed by Brandon Ingram, hold the worst record in the Western Conference, currently sitting at No. 15.
Pacers’ last game vs. the Pelicans
In their last matchup on Nov. 1, the Pelicans defeated the Pacers 125-118 in New Orleans. Pelicans Zion Williamson, who will likely miss tonight’s contest, led his team with 25 points, ten assists and six rebounds. Ingram contributed 26 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Ben Sheppard led the Pacers with 20 points, while Bennedict Mathurin contributed 19 point and six rebounds and Haliburton added 11 points and 11 assists in their last matchup against the Pelican.
Currently, both teams have multiple players out with injuries. Andrew Nembhard (knee), Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Shappard (oblique) remain sidelined for the Pacers.
Johnny Furphy (ankle) is listed as a game-time decision.
Pelicans players Yves Missi (shoulder), C.J. McCollum (thigh), Dejounte Murray (hand) and Herbert Jones (shoulder) are listed as a game-time decision.
Jose Alvarado (hamstring) and Williamson (hamstring) have been ruled out.
