The Recorder Women’s Auxiliary will host a community food and supply drive July 21 in the parking lot of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 1003 W. 16th Street.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until supplies run out, community members can get food, backpacks, school supplies and various health screenings. Parents can also register for a grand prize, which includes a laptop.
The community drive is made possible through partnerships between the Women’s Auxiliary, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Shalom Health Center, the Indianapolis Recorder, Community Action of Greater Indianapolis and McFarling Foods.
