The Startup Ladies unveiled the Top 9 women founders who will headline the third annual #InvestInWomenFounders Summit.
Slated for noon to 6 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the Delta Faucet Company headquarters in Indianapolis, the summit spotlights some of the most promising women-led businesses nationwide.
Founder of Found Search Marketing and a board member of Startup Ladies Julie Warnecke emphasized the significance of this event.
“Women-owned businesses represent 42% of all U.S. businesses, but they only receive 2.3% of venture capital,” Warnecke said in a statement. “Women of color and LGBTQ+ women founders secure even less. The Startup Ladies are leading the charge in the Midwest to help more women launch scalable businesses and secure funding to grow.”
The summit features nine exceptional women entrepreneurs, each bringing innovative solutions to various markets. These founders represent diverse industries and states, each poised to make significant strides with the right investment.
The event utilizes an āOprah-styleā interview format, where each founder will engage in an in-depth conversation with seasoned entrepreneurs and senior executives. This approach aims to cultivate a relaxed atmosphere, allowing the founders to showcase their business acumen and connect with potential investors and supporters.
The event will feature nine distinguished interviewers, including business leaders and executives such as Councilman of Westfield Jon Dartt, vice president of engineering at Blueprint Roger Deetz and Chair of Carium Mike Hatfield.
