Indiana Fever star Tamika Catchings will hold her foundation’s 10th Annual Back to School Celebration on Sunday, July 26 from 12-2 p.m. The Catch the Stars Foundation welcomes all students in kindergarten through 12th grades for a backpack giveaway, community fair and more at the Washington Park Family Center (3130 E. 30th St. Indianapolis).
The Back to School Celebration is free of charge for students, and Catch the Stars relies on generous supporters of this mission. A contribution of $25 helps purchase school supplies and backpacks for local youth. Those interested can donate online here by Friday, July 17.
Event registration is limited to the first 500 students and registration can be found at catchthestars.org or by clicking here. Registration by mail must be completed by July 16 to Catch the Stars Foundation, P.O. Box 53557 Indianapolis, IN 46253. There will be a limited number of walk-up registrations accepted between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the event on July 26.
