The Indianapolis Colts will hold its 2014 Training Camp at Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., with the full squad reporting to camp on, July 23. The Colts will return to Anderson for the fifth consecutive year after spending 12 years in Terre Haute at Rose-Hulman University.
During the last day of the Colts three-day minicamp that was June 17th – June 19th, Coach Chuck Pagano gave a message to all of his players about their 34 day layoff before training camp.
“Avoid making negative headlines for the team,” said Pagano. “I told our guys several times our expectations are high, our goal for the season is the Super Bowl.”
The 2014 Training Camp will be located at the Kardatzke Wellness Center/Macholtz Stadium complex located in the Northeast section of the university campus. The public is welcome to watch the colts practice and can access the camp from University Boulevard and 5th Street. Campus security will be present to direct the public to available parking for the duration of the camp. Entire practices will be open to the public free of charge.
The Colts have also designed a fun and interactive area for fans to engage with their favorite team, Colts City will be open adjacent to the practice fields beginning Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, August 10. The area includes Colts inflatables, autographs from Colts Cheerleaders, Colts Pro Shop, concessions and interactive booths.
Some special theme days to note:
Kids Day, Presented by Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health – Saturday, July 26th. – A special kid’s meal will be available at the concession stands for $2.50 and all Colts Kids Club Members will have the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt to win Colt tickets.
Armed Forces Day – Sunday, July 27th – Members of the armed forces are invited out to Colts training camp for a special day dedicated to the men and women who have served and are currently serving our country.
BBQ Bash at Training Camp – Thursday, July 31st – The Colts will host a special BBQ Bash during the evening pracatice at Training Camp. The evening will include special BBQ options at the concessions, full squad cheerleader performance, and live music.
Fan Club Day – Saturday, August 9th – Members of the Colts Fan Clubs (Blue Ladies, Colts Fan Club and Colts Kids Club) are invited out to Training Camp to receive exclusive members only benefits. With a fan club membership ID card, fans can receive discount parking and special concession pricing.
