The excitement of hometown baseball is coming to Indiana TV viewers in 2012. The Indianapolis Indians and WRTV (Channel 6) are teaming up to televise live coverage of Indians home games for the season on HTSN, Indiana’s Hometown Sports & News channel.
It is the first time all 72 Indians home games will be available on free, over-the-air broadcast TV.
HTSN is available via cable and over-the-air reaching more than a million homes across Central Indiana.
The first Indians home game is Friday, April 13 against the Toledo Mud Hens at Victory Field.
HTSN can be seen over-the-air on channel 6.2, and is available on numerous cable systems in Indiana, including Comcast and Brighthouse. For Comcast subscribers, HTSN is on channel 247 in some areas and channel 420 or 130 in others. For Brighthouse subscribers, HTSN is on channel 164.
