Looking to bring in 2015 the right way? Well, Indianapolis has a plethora of events to fulfill your New Year’s Eve desires. From champagne parties to events catered especially for children, you are bound to find something fun and entertaining this Dec. 31. Following is a look into events around the city for all ages at a range of budgets.

Family New Year’s Eve

End 2014 with a bang with a family-friendly alcohol-free celebration in the Gov. Frank O’Bannon Great Hall at the Indiana State Museum’s Family New Year’s Eve event. The event starts at 6 p.m. with face painting, stilt walkers, clowns and music to highlight the evening. A balloon drop at 8 p.m. allows little ones to celebrate the New Year in style. Tickets are $7 for members and $13 for non-members. Reservations are recommended. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit Indianamuseum.org.

Ciroc the New Year

Party in the sky with a 360-degree view of downtown at the Ciroc the New Year event at Regions Bank starting at 9 p.m. The night features an all-inclusive top-shelf bar with light gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast, a special presentation at midnight, and more. Music will be provided by DJ Lockstar, DJ Gabby Love, DJ gNo, DJ Indiana Jones, and Joe Meltdown. Tickets are $130 per person and can be purchased at cirocnewyears.com/ticketinfo.php.

Celebrate at the Indiana Roof

Join Circle City Athletics (CCA) at the Indiana Roof Ballroom for their New Year’s Eve celebration beginning at 8:30 p.m. CCA New Year’s is not the same old boring ball drop. They’ve got entertainment to keep you going all night long including a DJ, a two-hour food buffet, henna tattoos, palm readers, ice luges, a photo booth, blackjack, and more. Enjoy dancing with your friends while sipping on exclusive cocktails from Miller Coors products and Fireball. They also have five bars serving unlimited drinks until 1 a.m. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at eventbrite.com/e/circle-city-athletics-new-years-eve-tickets-13910359259.

Countdown to Noon

Celebrate the final day of 2014 with the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Starting at 10 a.m. the Countdown to Noon event begins with activities, music from Grammy-nominated children’s recording artist Zak Morgan, and Water Clock countdowns at noon and 1 p.m., which will allow families to experience the excitement of a countdown at a reasonable hour for the youngsters. Receive hats and other festive favors for the big moment while supplies last. Visit childrensmuseum.org for tickets and more information.

Casino night at the Hyatt Regency

This action-packed night of entertainment and celebration includes several live musical performances on three stages, a fantasy casino “player’s lounge” and a massive midnight balloon drop in the center of the hotel’s magnificent 21-story atrium lobby. Participants must be 21 and over to enter the hotel. Tickets range from $40-$375. For more information, visit indianapolis.hyatt.com/en/hotel/news-and-events/events/join-us-for-new-year-s-eve.html.
