After the tremendous success of Collabo in Chicago since January 2008, On The Street Promotion and Marketing proudly announces Collabo the music business mixer by expanding into new markets.
The first city will be Indianapolis on Sunday March 14 at C&A, 5162 West Pike Rd. from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. Going into a new decade, the entertainment industry faces new sets of challenges and obstacles where aspiring artists need to be educated on the marketing and business of music.
This platform allows all generations new and veteran to build their labels, develop plans and create campaigns in order to properly promote their brand in an effective way. This priceless information is the true definition of what Collabo is about.
Collabo is a music industry mixer for all aspiring and established artists, which is the brainchild of Mary Datcher, President of On the Street Promotions and Marketing. Collabo comes from the word collaborate, which means, “to work jointly with others especially in an intellectual endeavor.”
These bi-monthly event features industry professionals that are part of the music community as informative seminars conducted by a moderator and team of panelists.
Khris ‘First Lady’ Raye of Radio One WTLC-FM (106.7) and Gospel clustermate WTLC-AM (1310) will be the moderator for this 2-part panel – “The Art of Music Marketing” and “Producer Workshop/Music Writer’s Listening” session where music will be critiqued by industry experts in the music business.
