The Ultimate Fighting Championship© welterweight (170 pounds) is currently preparing for his next bout, a preliminary card tilt against Brian Foster at UFC© 110 on Feb. 21 in Sydney, Australia.

Monteiro, hitting the mitts with his cornerman, noted MMA trainer and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Detective Patrick McPherson, and fielding questions. The Monteiro Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, welcoming environment for grapplers of all ages and sizes to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) for fitness, selfdefense, or competition.
