The Harrison Center is transforming into “The Hardwood House” in partnership with Foot Locker and Nike this weekend.

The Hardwood House activation takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 18-19 at the Harrison Center, 1505 N. Delaware St., and invites Hoosier families, basketball fans and sneaker heads to experience a fresh take on basketball culture — at the intersection of fashion, music, art and sport. The two-day activation aims to celebrate creativity and community through free programming that reflects Foot Locker, Nike and Jordan Brand’s “shared commitment to community connection, creative empowerment, and elevating the next generation of athletes and storytellers,” according to a press release.

On July 18, The Hardwood House activation will feature curated playlists and live DJ sets from top female artists throughout the day, exclusive product trials and private influencer activations and a Sneaker Custom Lab where guests can personalize their own pair of Air Force 1s.

Families are invited back to the Harrison Center on July 19 for youth basketball clinics and other court programming, and an interactive Charm Bar where guests can create a custom bracelet alongside local artists.

Gallery displays will also be open to the public throughout the activation and guests can shop from limited-edition Nike sneakers and apparel, engage with photo booths and branded installations for “social storytelling and Instagrammable moments,” or stop for a refreshing beverage in a collectible cup at the smoothie bar.

The Hardwood House activation at the Harrison Center is free and open to the public; no registration is needed.
