Two-time GRAMMY award-winning R&B powerhouse Kehlani brought her World Tour to the Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park on Aug. 10.

Fans beat the sweltering heat to witness Kehlani’s fourth stop on her tour. To no one’s surprise, the show rang throughout downtown Indy.

Kehlani continues her standout year as her self-titled album, “Kehlani,” released last month, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 69,000 album units earned. According to a statement, this early success led to her securing the biggest debut for an R&B album by a woman in 2026 so far.

Openers such as Waseel, Dixson, TheARTI$T and Durand Bernarr got the show started with high-energy selections from their own catalogues. Dixson and TheARTI$T came back and performed with Kehlani for a powerful collection of music and artistry.

As Kehlani began her set, the amphitheater was filled with the cheers of fans. Her set encapsulated an “After Hours” vibe featuring popular songs from her catalogue while the crowd sang along.

Kehlani did a brief tribute to Janet Jackson honoring the music icon, then diving into her own song “Distraction.”

As the night went on, the artist displayed the vivid dance choreography that accompanies hit songs like “After Hours” with her tour-mates creating an afterparty vibe and holding fans captive until late in the night. During the song, the R&B star surprised everyone by emerging from the audience to give fans an up-close look at her mesmerizing performance from every corner of the amphitheater.

The final selection of the night was of course one of the most popular songs of the year, “Folded.” Per Kehlani’s request, everyone in attendance held their lights high in the night sky of downtown Indianapolis.

Fans were treated to a festive night of angelic vocals, vibrant choreography and an expertly produced collection of sets and stage changes. Even the heat could not beat this powerful performance.
