Cathy Hughes, founder and chairperson of Urban One Inc., will be the featured speaker at the Madam Walker Legacy Center’s 40th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Celebration at noon Jan. 17 at madamwalkerlegacycenter.com. Registration is free.
Kristian Little Stricklen, president of Madam Walker Legacy Center, will have a conversation with Hughes about the importance of the voice of the Black community. Also, Hughes will be inducted into the Madam Walker Legacy Center of Fame during the celebration.
