More by this author

The Peace Learning Center, an Indianapolis organization, will host a leadership development session called “Servant Leadership: An Ethical, Practical & Meaningful Approach to Work” this month.

Conducted by Dr. Kent M. Keith, CEO of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, the session will take place May 20 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Indiana Interchurch Center, 1100 W. 42nd St.

Keith will define servant leadership, compare the power model with the service model of leadership, share examples of servant-leaders and explain seven key practices that make servant-leaders effective.

Each participant will receive a copy of Dr. Keith’s book, The Case for Servant Leadership, to use as a handbook during the session.

The registration fee of $49 is tax-deductible. All proceeds will be invested in Peace Learning Center youth programs.

For more information and to register, contact Nancy Larner Ruschman at nruschman@peacelearningcenter.org or call (317) 327-7144.
