Yellow Pages directories delivery under way

More by this author

The Indianapolis Indians baseball team is featured on the cover of the new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directory serving the Greater Indianapolis area.

The team, which plays in the International League, is the Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates Major League club. The Indians are Indianapolis’ first professional sports team as professional baseball has been played in Indianapolis since 1887. The Indians have won 23 championships and have produced 12 Hall of Famers including Harmon Killebrew, Grover Cleveland Alexander, and Al Lopez.

More than 896,000 copies of the directory have been produced for distribution in the area this year. Directory delivery is under way and continues for about seven weeks. The directory will also be available to new residents and businesses throughout the year.

“We are proud to feature Indianapolis Indians baseball on the cover of our new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directory for the Greater Indianapolis area,” said Rhonda Bieda, AT&T Advertising Solutions area market manager. “Each year we look to feature a local image on the front covers of our directories to emphasize that the AT&T Real Yellow Pages is a valuable community resource and excellent local search option for both residents and businesses.”

A companion directory, which features a photograph of downtown Indianapolis along with the Radio Disney logo, is a smaller, more portable version of the traditional print directory designed for on-the-go consumers. About 576,000 of these have been have been produced for distribution.

In addition to the core and companion directories, these directories are also being distributed:

ā€¢ North Suburban featuring the Indiana Black Expo.

ā€¢ East Suburban featuring the Indianapolis Speedrome.

ā€¢ West Suburban featuring the Indianapolis Zoo and Radio Disney.

ā€¢ South Suburban featuring a local photo and the WFDM Freedom 95.9 logo.

ā€¢ Indiana Central Business to Business.

Indianapolis customers have the opportunity to choose if they want to receive a printed copy of the AT&T residential white pages directory. Instructions explaining customers’ options for accessing free residential white page listings, including this toll-free number to request a printed residential white pages directory, will appear on the cover of the Real Yellow Pages and in multiple places within that directory.

As new books are delivered, Indianapolis area businesses and residents are encouraged to recycle their outdated directories. AT&T Real Yellow Pages directories are recyclable, and the paper used to print the directories contains recycled materials. Residents and businesses can call the AT&T Real Yellow Pages Project ReDirectory help line, listed on the directory cover, at 800-953-4400 for directory recycling information in this community.
