Google Express Brings Next Day Shipping to Indianapolis

More by this author

Tuesday, Google announced that Google Express, a next day delivery service, is expanding in the Midwest and arriving at Indianapolis.

The new service brings the speed of the web to the real world by helping consumers shop their favorite stores onlineā€”in a single place. As of today, Indianapolis-area residents can shop from national stores like Costco, Toys R Us and Barnes & Noble; and specialty stores like L’Occitane and PetSmart and get delivery the very next day.

“Our goal with Google Express is to offer a great shopping experience and connect people with their favorite stores,” said Brian Elliott, General Manager for Google Express.

“Today, we’re very excited to be further expanding our efforts — making it easy for over 25 million people in the Midwest to get things they need from stores they love, delivered overnight.”Ā

In addition to helping Indianapolis-area customers get their items faster, Google Express also benefits local merchants by extending their reach to new customers throughout the region, and increases visibility of their store and products.

Currently, shoppers can sign up for the unlimited delivery membership for $95 a year/ $10 month or can get a la carte delivery for $4.99 per store. Google Express is also offering a 3-month free trial for new members.
