The Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) at the University of Indianapolis has started Hoosier Ed, a blog-style website devoted to K-12 education issues across Indiana.
The site, located at www.hoosiered.com, will publish views and facilitate discussion on a range of topics, with contributors from across the political spectrum and throughout the field of education. Other content will include breaking news and articles on education policy and related developments.
CELL Executive Director David Dresslar said the site is intended to seize a promising moment in the state’s education debate, as civic leaders, educators and citizens seem to agree on the need for substantive change in Indiana schools, even if some disagree on the means.
