Private schools to host ‘People of Color Job Fair’

More by this author

The 8th Annual People of Color Job Fair will take place March 19 at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School, 2801 W. 86th St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers say the job fair is an effort to increase the representation of diverse faculty, staff and administration within the Indianapolis Area Private Schools Diversity Consortium (IAPSDC).

Members of the IAPSDC include Brebeuf, Cathedral High School, Culver Academies, International School of Indiana, Park Tudor School, Providence Cristo Rey High School, the Oaks Academy, the Orchard School, St. Richard’s School, Sycamore School and University High School.

Those who attend the job fair will have the opportunity to learn more about the participating schools and speak with representatives from those institutions about current and potential career opportunities. Candidates should bring copies of their resume and be prepared for interviews.

Pre-registration is not required to attend. Those who cannot attend the fair may send a resume by e-mail to diversityjobfair@brebeuf.org.

The IAPSDC is a cooperative initiative of 11 local private/independent schools designed to promote and enhance the diversity efforts within the schools.
