Pacers expands radio coverage

More by this author

All Indiana Pacers preseason and regular season games will again be carried on Emmis radio stations. The majority will air on 93 WIBC with the remaining airing on 1070 The Fan, WFNI.

Mark Boyle will call his 23rd season as the Pacers play-by-play man. He will be joined at home by Pacers legend Bob “Slick” Leonard, the former coach who will enter his 27th season as an analyst.

Former Pacer Austin Croshere will partner with Boyle on a package of road games, and veteran broadcaster Kevin Lee returns as the studio host and sideline reporter.

Boyle will also host “Pacers Weekly” on Thursday nights at 6 p.m. on 1070 The Fan. Joining Boyle on the Pacers variety show each week will be a multitude of guests, ranging from head coach Frank Vogel, General Manager David Morway, to the Pacers TV announcers. Fans will have a chance to join in the fun by asking questions and making comments via Twitter.

Also back this year on radio will be the postgame call-in show, “Pacers Overtime,” which will air on whichever station is carrying the play-by-play. Hosted by Pacers Director of Corporate Relations Eddie White, the show will feature fan interaction via calls and tweets to White.
