On Sept. 17, Community Church Indy will have a night filled with poetry, music, food, film and fellowship to entertain the community and raise money for the church.
Dija Henry will present “Breathe,” a film about the impact of homicides on families and their journeys with forgiveness. Jus Will, a poet, will be performing some of his spoken word poetry, and singer Komoca will perform original songs from her new album, “True Love.”
The event will be at Community Church Indy, 2748 Dr. Andrew J. Brown Ave., and tickets are $40.
“This is more than just a performance,” Tijideen Rowley said in video about the event, digital creator and event producer. “This is something to impact the community. This is something for the kingdom of God.”
