Sikich LLP has merged in the accounting, tax and business consulting practice of Frederick M. Marcus & Co., of Rockford, Ill.
The merger took effect Dec. 1. FMMCO will operate under the Sikich name. FMMCO partner Cindy Sage and staff members Cynthia A. Larson and Sue Brown will join the Rockford office of Sikich and continue to serve their existing clients as well as new clients.
FMMCO is in the process of contacting clients to inform them of the change and answer any questions they may have about the transition or about Sikich. ĀThis merger will enable us to expand the depth and breadth of services that we offer in the Rockford area while continuing to offer a high level of service to our combined clients,Ā said Jim Millikin, partner-in-charge of the Sikich LLP Rockford Office, in a statement.
Sikich has more than 325 employees and 10 offices located in Aurora, Buffalo Grove, Chicago, Decatur, Naperville, Rockford, and Springfield, Ill.; Indianapolis, Ind.; St. Louis, Mo.; and New York, N.Y. The firm ranked 70th on Accounting Today’s 2009 list of the Top 100 Firms with $42 million in revenue.
