NFL alum Marlin Jacksonās Fight for Life Foundation received a grant for a partnership with Preventia to support educator mental health and well-being.
The Fight for Life Foundation is a nonprofit that helps underserved youth by providing tools to educators for social-emotional learning programs. Preventia, a company specializing in mental and behavioral health, will partner up with the foundation for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.
The partnership is made possible by the Indianapolis Coltsā Kicking the Stigma Grant, which has been raising awareness to end the stigma around mental illnesses since 2020.
āWeāre pleased to award a Kicking the Stigma Action Grant to support Fight for Life and Preventiaās efforts to make a difference in the lives of educators and students, both inside and outside the classroom,ā said Brett Kramer, Director of Kicking the Stigma.
Through this collaboration, educators using the foundation’s Building Dreams platform will have access to Preventiaās mental and behavioral care providers.Ā

Brian Schroeder, CEO of Preventia, expressed his gratitude to be part of the initiative and is looking forward to working with the foundation.
