People or families with a combined income of $66,000 or less can get free tax preparation help at the East 38th Street Branch of Indianapolis Public Library through April 11.
Assistance is available by appointment 1-6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Fridays. Schedule an appointment at the branch or by calling 317-275-4352.
The prep service is part of Indy Free Tax Prep, a network of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites administered by the United Way of Central Indiana in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service.
