On April 22, The Garage food hall announced was named the No.4 food hall in the country by USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards for 2026.
The Garage earned this distinction through a panel of culinary experts nominating the top food halls nationwide. From this curated field of 20 food halls, USA Today’s 10Best editors and readers voted for the final top 10 rankings. Based on its selection of eateries and contributions to the community, The Garage secured a place in the top five.
“We’re thrilled to receive this recognition,” said Catherine Haynes, general manager of The Garage. “Being named in USA Today’s 10Best list is an incredible honor and to be named in the top five makes it even more special. Our team’s dedication and our customers’ support have made this possible. We look forward to continuing building on this success.”
As a community-focused marketplace, The Garage features more than 20 independently owned local and regional vendors in its 38,000 square foot space in the Bottleworks District of downtown Indianapolis. The Garage offers a range of culinary talent, from chef-driven experiences to craft drinkeries. The food hall also features a mix of specialty retail vendors.
Rolli Sushi, Hachi Machi and Clancy’s hamburgers are among some of the featured restaurants that have helped the Garage Food Hall gain recognition. The food hall features 1930’s Art Deco facades, industrial architecture, and large roll-up doors for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
The Garage is located at 906 Carrollton Ave.
