The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra (ICO) presents a fall-themed performance complete with seasonal music and treats for the whole family.
Autumn Sketches takes place one night only at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 23 at Butler Universityās Schrott Center for the Arts. The program intends to provide a magical evening filled with the music stylings of Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Martin and Brazilian composer Villa-Lobos.
Conducted by Matthew Kraemer, Autumn Sketches opens with Villa-Lobosā Sinfonietta No. 1 āIn Memory of Mozart.ā It continues with Vaughan Willamās āConcerto for Oboe and Stings in a minor,ā which will feature Leonid Sirotkin, principal oboe for the ICO and English Horn player for Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra, as a featured soloist.

The second half of the performance will include Martinās āEsquisse pour orchestraā and Mozartās āSymphony No. 35, in D Major.ā
Guests will be able to enjoy hot apple cider and autumn desserts throughout the evening. Tickets begin at $35 and are available by calling the ICO box office at 317-940-9607 or contacting info@icomusic.org.
