The Indiana Fever parted ways with forward Katie Lou Samuelson, the organization announced on Feb. 10.

Samuelson signed a 2-year, $355,250 contract with the Fever in 2024 and agreed to a contract buyout with the team.

The organization dished out the remaining $155,000, ultimately making space for the roster.

The five-year veteran from the University of Connecticut played 37 games with Indiana, averaging 4.3 points per contest in 2024.

Known for her three-point shooting and interior defense, Samuelson now plays in the inaugural season of Unrivaled, a 3-on-3 women’s basketball league.

Additionally, Unrivaled hosts 1-on-1 matchups, something not seen in the WNBA.

As a No. 8 seed Phantom Basketball Club captain, Samuelson fell short to Napheesa Collier of the No. 1 seed Lunar Owls 12-6 in a 1-on-1 contest on Feb. 11.
