Participating McDonald’s locations across Indiana will be raising funds for local high school athletic programs by donating 10% of sales made through their mobile app on Oct. 2.
Over 175 schools in the Indiana, Southwest Michigan and Southwest Illinois regions will benefit. Each McDonald’s restaurant identified a local school for proceeds to benefit. Each school will receive a minimum of $250.
This marks the first year Indiana McDonald operators are hosting a high school sports digital fundraiser. Operators in Ohio were the first ones to launch the program last year.
“This is the first time all Greater Indiana area owner/operators have come together on one day to show our support for athletics in the communities we serve,” said Laurie Henry-Bradley, McDonald’s owner and operator. “Our hope is that the local communities will come out to support their high schools and help us make the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day a success throughout the state.”
To participate, download the McDonald’s app from the App Store.
