The urban crime thriller “Respect The Jux,” the story of Cat, a young Jamaican man who flees his criminal past by immigrating to the United States in hopes of achieving the American dream, has been adapted into a feature film.
The film is distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films and executive produced by Terrance “Pusha T” Thornton and Anthony Jacobs and produced by Cordelia Donovan and Melissa Adon.
After several attempts to realize the American Dream the “right way,” Cat returns to his old ways. “Respect the Jux“ illustrates the age-old struggle between good and evil, pivotal decisions in life and choosing the right path.
The cast includes Tony Sirico (“Sopranos,” “Goodfellas,” “Bronx Tale”), Robert Constanzo (“Pulp Fiction,” “Die Hard 2”), Tobias Truvillion (“Seburg,” “Hitch”), comedian Ed Lover (Yo! MTV Raps), rapper Vado, Dupré “DoItAll” Kelly (Lords of the Underground) and Ciera Payton (“Wendy Williams: The Movie,” “The Oval,” “Madea Family Funeral”).
