CHICAGO, IL (April 26, 2024) ā Festival organizers at Lyrical Lemonade and SPKRBX are proud to unveil this yearās music lineup as Summer Smash returns to SeatGeek Stadium, just outside of Chicago, Illinois beginning Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16, 2024.
Having welcomed more festival-goers than ever before at the record-breaking fifth-anniversary celebration last summer that hosted over 100,000 attendees from all 50 U.S. states (plus Washington, D.C.) and nearly 20 international destinations across 4 continents, this three-day outdoor music festival has cemented itself as the largest independently-owned hip-hop festival in the world.
Weekend headliners include Travis Scott (Friday) who will tap his own home team record label for the first-ever collaborative Cactus Jack performance including Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Chase B, Luxury Tax, SoFaygo, and WondaGurl.
Playboi Carti (Saturday) will also return for a third consecutive year to headline Day 2, riding high from one of the most prolific years in his star-studded career having recently released projects with Camila Cabello, Future and Metro Boomin, Kanye West, and Ty Dolla $ign, and fellow 2024 festival headliner Travis Scott.
Summer Smash marks a rare festival performance for both Travis Scott and Playboi Carti this year, with the Chicago festival claiming the only North American dates currently on the 2024 calendar.
Famed Chicago rapper Chief Keef (Sunday) will close out the three-day festival after a 10-year hiatus from performing in his home state of Illinois, which should make for one of the most monumental homecomings in modern music.
Other notable festival acts include returning alumni like Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Ski Mask The Slump God, Flo Milli, Bia, Destroy Loney, Lucki, Ken Carson, Lil Tecca, Denzel Curry, and Lil Skies; plus first-time festivalperformers like Big Sean, YG Marley and That Mexican OT; among many others.

Summer Smash will return to SeatGeek Stadium having received an overwhelming amount of positive fan feedback. Located roughly 30 minutes from downtown Chicago in nearby Bridgeview, Illinois, the outdoor event will house three main stages – one of them outdoors within a world-class sports stadium, while the other is custom-built and constructed on outdoor turf nearby including a smaller third performance stage placed underneath a massive open-air tent.
Fans can also look forward to further improvements to production, sound, and lighting by organizers this June. Festival-goers can also find many visual elements inspired by Lyrical Lemonadeās recently released album sprinkled throughout the festival grounds such as the iconic All Is Yellow Tent as seen in the albumās viral music videos.
Once inside the festival grounds, fans will also be treated to dozens of art installations and local food vendors, plus massive sponsorship activations spread across the sprawling multi-acre space, with more details coming soon.
