Thanksgiving is just around the corner, which means so is Thanksgiving dinner.
The holidays are stressful for some, even without the burden of preparing a full-course meal for the whole family. So, from churches to foodbanks, we have compiled a list of a few places around Indianapolis offering free turkeys or full meals for those who need an extra hand.

The fourth annual BFA Turkey Day Giveaway provides families in need with a dinner that includes a large turkey, mashed potatoes, bread, canned vegetables, stuffing and dessert. Text 317-680-6165 to reserve a box for pickup.

Chef Borelās KitchenĀ Free Community Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway

Nov. 23, noon to 4 p.m.
On Thanksgiving Day, community members can stop by Chef Borelās Kitchen to pick up free Thanksgiving meals. Food will be handed out through curbside pickup service only. Call or text your parking space number and how many meals you need when you arrive.
Good Samaritan Network Holiday Assistance

Families in need can receive Thanksgiving dinner at these three Hamilton County Good Samaritan Network locations. Meals are drive-thru pickup only and first come, first served.

Jomoās Prime Time Barbershop Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway

Nov. 22, 1 p.m.
Community members can come celebrate the holiday with Jomoās Prime Time Barbershop and enjoy a free meal until supplies run out.

Thanksgiving Banquet Meals

The Thanksgiving Banquet Board will hand out Thanksgiving meals to community members. Meals are drive-thru pickup; homebound residents can set up delivery by calling 317-662-0199 or emailing turkeydinner@johnsoncountybanquets.org.
