Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. hosted its national conference in Indianapolis, featuring a series of events aimed at empowering women and promoting social justice. The conference, held from July 22 to July 26, included impactful programs and discussions, culminating in the prestigious Impact Awards Dinner Gala.
The conference’s opening program, The Extraordinary Power of S.H.E., featured a Blueprints to Black Wealth fireside chat and an inspirational concert with performances by renowned artists.
Additionally, a social justice town hall and luncheon, featuring special remarks from U.S. Congresswomen Kamlager Dove and Rashida Tlaib, underscored the importance of using collective power to drive positive change in communities.
The health justice town hall and friendship luncheon, moderated by Camille Chang Gilmore of Boston Scientific, highlighted important discussions on health equity and featured prominent health care professionals. Vice President Kamala Harris, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., was also in attendance for some of the festivities.

Moreover, the conference came to a head with the Impact Awards Dinner Gala, hosted by Indianapolis’ own Vivica Fox and Jericka Duncan. This event celebrated outstanding Zeta Phi Beta chapters, and two $125,000 scholarships were awarded to deserving high school seniors.
Amidst the conference, Zeta National Educational Foundation (ZNEF), a prominent nonprofit organization focused on funding higher education for young individuals, recently received a transformational $250,000 donation from Macy’s.
The scholarships awarded at the conference are a testament to the collaboration between ZNEF and Macy’s in fulfilling their mission of providing access to higher education for deserving students.
