On July 13, the Indianapolis public is welcome to participate in the fourth annual Indy Criterium Cycling Race Festival. The first race will start at 10 a.m. at University Park, 325 N. Meridian St.
There will be multiple races and the first race costs $40. Each additional race is $20. More than $8,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each category.
There will be a race for children and a Kids Zone which will include face painting, clowns and more. Spectators can also enjoy their time with food, live bands and a variety of other things.
The race will benefit Freewheelinā Community Bikes, a nonprofit that helps underprivileged youths earn their own bicycle through educational programs.
