Applications for the 2012 Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program are now available.
This year, the Debutante Cotillion will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
For more than 26 years, young ladies have been formally presented to society and the Indianapolis community through the Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program. This signature program, hosted by Alpha Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and Ivy Endowment Inc., provides educational workshops, promotes community service, and provides scholarships to the young ladies.
The application deadline is Friday, March 23.
Selection criteria:
ā¢ Must be a junior or senior enrolled in a Central Indiana high school during the 2012-2013 school year.
ā¢ Must participate in an interview session.
ā¢ Must submit all required materials ā debutante application form with a $25 non-refundable application fee (must be a money order or cashierās check), a completed recommendation form, and an official, sealed transcript to evidence a minimum cumulative C+ Grade Point Average (GPA). Ā This minimum C+ GPA must be maintained throughout the program.
