Some of the greatest basketball players from Indianapolis will appear for a historic event that fans will not want to miss. The 2011 Indiana Hall of Famers Reunion will take place on July 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Al Polin Room of the Julia Carson Center, 300 E. Fall Creek Parkway.
This year homage will be paid to Black Hall of Famers, including stars of the 1960 and ‘61 IPS basketball teams, the Crispus Attucks High School Championship teams of 1955, ’56 and ’59, and the Washington High School championship teams of 1965 and ’69. Hallie Bryant†, Oscar Robertson, “Big” George McGinnis, Larry McIntyre and Landon Turner are among the many stars who will be honored.
