There’s enough heat in July without adding the stress and cost of a legal issue. To keep your cool under the pressure of legal woes, check out Legal Line, a free call-in legal advice service. On Tuesday, July 14, the Indianapolis Bar Association will host Legal Line from 6 to 8 p.m. at 317-269-2000. If you have a legal issue based in Indiana, you have the chance to call and chat with a volunteer attorney about it at zero cost. Don’t get burned by a legal issue – relief is one phone call away.
Licensed Indiana attorneys participating in Legal Line on July 14 will be prepared to answer questions on such topics as divorce, child custody, child support, landlord/tenant issues, personal injury, employment law and more. All calls are confidential.
Legal Line takes place the second Tuesday of each month from January through November. Those with complex legal issues or anyone seeking representation are encouraged to contact the IndyBarās Lawyer Referral Service at (317) 269-2222, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or go online to indylawyerfinder.com.
Individuals specifically seeking bankruptcy legal advice can also find help by calling the association’s Bankruptcy Help Line, which takes place on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. The Bankruptcy Help Line can be reached by calling 317-269-1903 and will be held this month on July 15 and July 29.
