Wishard Health Services will hold a pre-bid meeting for contractors to submit bids that feature opportunities for local small-business and minority/women/veteran-owned business enterprise (M/W/VBE) contractors on April 26 at 10 a.m. at the Madame Walker Theatre Center, 617 Indiana Ave.
Among the trade packages are: doors, framing and hardware; drywall, metal studs, insulation and painting; interior glass, glazing and terrazzo flooring and countertops; interior carpeting and flooring; and fire-stop insulation and sealants.
The New Wishard is on time and on budget for completion in 2014 and ahead of its goals for M/W/VBE participation in construction contracting. The pre-bid meeting will also include outreach for M/W/VBEs to work with primes. Bids will be due at 10 a.m. on May 26.
