Northside shoppers and residents can now enjoy a cocktail, comfortable lunch or a night on the town at the newest addition to the River’s Edge Shopping Center – Harry & Izzy’s. The addition of this independent restaurant continues to bring new options to the Northside of Indianapolis for residents and visitors.
“Taking our tradition of fabulous food, professional service and unique dining environments to Indy’s Northside is a perfect fit,” said Craig Huse, co-owner of Harry & Izzy’s. “We’re simply expanding upon the success and popularity of Harry & Izzy’s and continuing to pay tribute to former owners of St. Elmo Steak House – Harry Roth and Isadore ‘Izzy’ Rosen.”
Like the downtown location, the new Northside restaurant features the same world-class fare including the world-famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, steaks, chops and chicken. The menu also features gourmet pizza, pasta and sandwiches.
“Restaurants help shape our city’s identity and character,” said Huse. “The new Harry & Izzy’s adds an option to the Northside that offers a unique atmosphere, upscale menu and great service.”
Exclusive to this location is a 2,700 bottle wine cellar that spans two stories, visible from both the mezzanine and main dining room. The lively bar will be the restaurant’s focal point, but unique dining rooms are also offered. Additionally, the new location has private dining options, an outdoor patio bar with a fire pit and a patio for family dining – accommodating 300 guests indoors and 90 outdoors.
