Grab your bike and take off at a “Ludicrous Speed” to Garfield Park, 2432 Conservatory Drive, for the next Indy Parks’ Free Bike-in Movie Night featuring the 80s classic, “Spaceballs” on Aug. 2.
The film begins after dusk (around 9 p.m.) on the lawn behind the Arts Center at Garfield Park. Bring your friends, your kids, your neighbors’ kids, blankets, and bikes for a great free movie night! Local Indy Food Truck Alliance vendors will be on site along with Sun King Brewery’s 21+ bier garden at the Pagoda.
Pre-registered children ages 6 to 12 can spend the evening at the Arts Center at Garfield Park prior to the movie creating hands-on art from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Materials and snacks are included in the program offered at $12 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. The class is an affordable evening of art at $4 per hour or less per child. Pre-registration is required to attend the art activity by calling 327-PARK (327-7275).
Prompt drop-off and pick-up of children is necessary.
