There has been much talk about what number is Lebron James going to wear this upcoming season, going back to 23 or staying with 6? Lebron is not the only NBA superstar thinking about changing numbers. Paul George could be the next one to follow the trend.
Earlier this week Paul George tweeted, āGot something in store for yāall in a couple weeks Indy!ā
Oddly enough, George has tweeted āTreceā three times in the past 48 hours. Trece is 13 in Espanol. As George has stated many times that FIFA 14ā is his favorite video game. Maybe he is scoring 13 goals every game and tweets Trece every time? A change could be great for George, as he has the perfect nickname for it that Jimmy Kimmel has giving him, āPG 13ā.
Kimmel: My friend Bill Simmons would like you to change your number to 13, so you can be PG-13
George: Thatās not bad.
Kimmel: Is that a consideration?
George: Thatās not bad. That has a ring to it, PG-13.
Kimmel: Do you have to go through a process to change a name?
George: I think I have to send out sorry letters to everyone who just bought their 24 jerseys.
PG-13 could be a good thing or a bad thing for the Pacers fans who need Georgeās game to be R-rated on the court with an aggressive mentality. Changing numbers is nothing new for NBA stars. For example, Kobe Bryant traded in his No. 8 for his current 24. Michael Jordan also traded the No. 23 when he returned from retirement with No. 45.
