FREE ADMISSION TO THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Celebrate El Día de los Niños with free admission to the Children’s Museum on Sunday, April 30. Families and children who visit the museum will enjoy special music, art and cultural activities. FREE JAM SESSION AT THE JAZZ KITCHEN

The hottest Jazz Jam in Indianapolis happens Monday nights at the Jazz Kitchen, 5377 N. College Ave. Listen to the musical magic unfold on Monday, May 1, starting at 5 p.m.

 

500 FESTIVAL KICKOFF

Join the 500 Festival as they kickoff the greatest month of the year — May! The celebration will start at Monument Circle, where Mayor Joe Hogsett, along with executives from the 500 Festival and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will welcome attendees in a brief ceremony. Enjoy food from some of Indy’s favorite food trucks, pick up prizes from the exhibitors on hand and get your picture taken with the Festival cars! This free event takes place on Wednesday, May 3, at 11 a.m.

 

NICOLE HENRY AT THE JAZZ KITCHEN

Nicole Henry, Soul Train award winner for Best Traditional Jazz Performance, will charm Indy with her passionate, soulful voice at the Jazz Kitchen on Saturday, April 29, at 5 p.m. Tickets start are $20 and can be purchased at thejazzkitchen.com.

 

MAIN EVENT OPENS IN INDY

CHRIS ROCK TOTAL BLACKOUT TOUR

THE MADAM WALKER STORY 

Freetown Village brings history to life with this performance. Learn the story of Madam C.J.
