The Tube Factory is the new home of the 2025 Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series.

Running April through October, the Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series is a program featuring free, multi-genre concerts, community activities and markets once a month. Now housed at the Tube Factory Campus — home of Big Car Collaborative — the musical gatherings aim to “bring energy to a previously underused part of the neighborhood,” through art, music and community, according to a press release.

“These events are happening in what was an abandoned parking lot and overgrown and fenced off lots less than 10 years ago. Now, it’s a beautiful pocket park for visitors,” Jim Walker, executive director and co-founder of Big Car, said in a statement. “Levitt VIBE Indianapolis is a major step in our big goal as artists to bring even more positive energy to our campus, our block, and our community — all while supporting artists, bringing people together and sparking creativity for everyone.”

Presented in partnership with Indianapolis-based Arte Mexicano en Indiana and the Los Angeles-based Levitt Foundation, the Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series invites the community to gather, celebrating a variety of music styles and dance performances alongside local food trucks, outdoor games, art activities and open galleries at the Tube Factory.

This year’s lineup of performers includes Sweet Poison Victim (cross-cultural rock), Wife Patrol (alternative rock), Laura Kay & the Bootleggers (country), Joshua Powell (indie rock), Sound Ecologies (classical), Gamelan Mojomanis (traditional Indonesian), Indygaita (traditional Venezuelan), Indianapolis Chinese Performing Arts (traditional Chinese dance), Technicolor Band (jazz), Florelis Jimenez (traditional Venezuelan folk), Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos (traditional Mexican folk dance), Mariachi Grupo Zelaya (traditional Mexican folk), Hush Hush (rock), Akustico (Latin romantic), Oceanic Beloved (avant garde jazz) and Criollisima con Sentimiento (Peruvian folk).

The series also highlights regional and national artists, such as folk artist Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy of Louisville, KY; ambient artist Don Slepian of Pennsylvania; Latin rock artist Daglio of Cincinnati; and indie pop artist Heaven Honey of Nashville, TN.

All concerts occur from noon to 3 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month — except for May — and feature a family-friendly artist or performer and a Latino or Latina act curated by Arte de Mexico en Indiana founder Eduardo Luna. Current dates include April 13, May 18, June 8, July 13, Aug. 10, Sept. 14 and Oct. 12.

“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Big Car for the Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series, now at a familiar venue — Tube Factory artspace — which has a long history of making our Mexican and Latine Community feel welcome,” Luna said in a statement. “These concerts are significant platforms for Latine artists near and far.”

The Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series is partially supported by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits across the country to activate underused outdoor spaces through the power of free, live music, according to a press release.
