Community members gathered at Belmont Beach on June 14 for ‘A Family Affair,’ a free all-ages community concert and picnic hosted by the Indianapolis Recorder and Mirror Indy.
The afternoon featured live performances from The Bomb Squad and The Love Ensemble, with music by DJ SoundsbyCam keeping the energy high. Hosts J. Bland Made Man and Thomas “Sparkle Soxx” Griffin kept the crowd engaged, while line dance instructor Tiffany Dilworth got attendees moving. Families enjoyed food, music, and sunshine in a celebration of community and culture.
