Costumes, candy and more: Churches host family-friendly fall events

Looking for family-friendly Fall fun? These local churches are hosting community events with candy, games and costumes — all in a safe, welcoming environment.

Friday, Oct. 31

5-8 p.m.

Trunk or Treat Fall Harvest

New Direction Church is welcoming the community out for candy, characters and costumes at their newest campus, 5640 E. 38th St., 46218.

6-8 p.m.

Fall Festival

Eastern Star Church will host its annual Fall Festival, which will feature a pumpkin patch, bounce houses, games, and candy at Rock Community Center, 5817 E. 32nd Street. Free.

6-8 p.m.

Harvest Fest

Light of the World Christian Church and Witherspoon Presbyterian Church are teaming up to host their annual Harvest Fest. Children may dress up as a positive character as they join the festivities and pick up treats. Harvest Fest will be at 4646 North Michigan Road, 46228. Free.

6-8 p.m.

Trunk-or-Treat

New Beginnings Church will have family fun and candy, while supplies last, at its upcoming Trunk-or-Treat, located at 2125 N. German Church Road, 46229. Free.

6-8:30 p.m.

Harvest Jam

Zion Hope Church will host the Harvest Jam, which will feature kid-friendly costumes, face painting, a DJ, activities, and food. The event is free, and registration is available at Eventbrite. The event will be at 5950 E. 46th Street, 46226.
