Election Day 2016: Who’s on the ballot?

Marion County voters will have several decisions to make this Election Day affecting all three branches of the government and impacting the federal, state and local level. Here’s a rundown of questions voters in Marion County will be asked to consider (depending on your exact address):

Four Indiana Court of Appeals judges appear on the ballot. If voters choose to retain them, they will serve for 10 more years before the question of retention will be posed again. Two of the four judges on the ballot apply to Marion County voters:

Public question 

Shall the Constitution of the State of Indiana be amended by adding a Section 39 to Article 1 to provide that the right to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife shall be forever preserved for the public good, subject only to the laws prescribed by the General Assembly and rules prescribed by virtue of the authority of the General Assembly to: (1) promote wildlife conservation and management; and (2) preserve the future of hunting and fishing?
