Join Newfields Sunday, Jan. 14, for a day of meaningful celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s life and impact. Experience a special multidenominational service led by religious leaders from Indianapolis.
Pastor Jeffrey Johnson Sr., senior pastor of Eastern Star Church, will deliver the keynote address and Rabbi Brett Krichiver, senior rabbi of the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, will lead the invocation. National Youth Poet Laureate Alyssa Gaines will share a powerful message, inspiring people to come together in shared faith to contribute to the creation of a beloved community free from injustice and flourishing with love.
The event will take place in Newfields’ Tobias Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the service begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free to the public, but seating is limited and advance tickets are recommended.
