CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ A central Indiana man faces an attempted murder charge for allegedly beating his ex-wife with a ballpeen hammer.
Timothy Ridge appeared Tuesday for an initial hearing on the charge. The 51-year-old Crawfordsville man remains jailed at the Montgomery County Jail. Police say he attacked Donna Kaehr (Cahr) at her Crawfordsville home on Saturday during a domestic dispute.
The Journal & Courier of Lafayette reports that Kaehr suffered multiple skull fractures, a broken finger and a broken arm in the attack.
Prosecutors say Ridge does not yet have an attorney.
